PH Vista Balboa

PH Vista Balboa rises 33 floors in Calidonia, entered as both the barrio and the corregimiento, and was delivered in 2013 by B B Overseas Inc. It sits on Calle 40 Este about 50 metres off Avenida Balboa, directly behind the Yacht Club tower, which puts the Cinta Costera and its waterfront path a few minutes away on foot.

Two counts of its size don't agree. The summary puts the building at 130 units; the individually titled apartments number 75, and one further unit carries no recorded type. Nothing on file explains the distance between those figures, so both are stated rather than one standing in for the size of the building.

The 75 is the number with a practical edge. Those apartments hold their own title, which is what lets a home be bought, financed and resold on its own. They run from roughly 93 to 124 square metres, a range narrow enough that one apartment says most of what the next one holds.

Shared space is deep for a building this size: pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, gym, party room, deck and a games room, served by two lifts, a gated entrance, communal gas and a full standby generator. All of it is staffed and serviced month after month, and that cost sits in the fee.
