PH Oceanaire

Oceanaire is one of Punta Pacífica's genuinely oceanfront towers, and its seventh floor holds an unusually complete recreation deck for a residential building: a squash court, a half basketball court, and a putting green sit alongside the gym, sauna, and a terrace set aside for yoga and tai chi, above two separate pools — one for adults, one for children — at ground level.

The 48-story tower was completed in 2011 by Alemán Arias, with eight apartment models per floor that span from compact studios to three-bedroom layouts of just over 600 m². Two hundred and thirty-three apartments hold individual title inside it. It stands right at the edge of the Pacific, making it one of the few buildings in the city that is truly on the water.

Punta Pacífica is a compact, high-rise enclave on the eastern edge of Panama City's bay — home to the Johns Hopkins-affiliated Pacífica Salud hospital and the man-made Ocean Reef Islands — where towers are built close to the shoreline and the ocean is part of daily life.
