El Cangrejo
PH Bogota was completed in 2011 in El Cangrejo, in the corregimiento of Bella Vista, and holds 252 apartments, sixteen commercial premises and three houses under a single property.
The building shares El Cangrejo with the Universidad de Panamá campus, and two Line 1 metro stations serve the neighbourhood: Vía Argentina, on the avenue that runs through its middle, and Iglesia del Carmen on Vía España.
Two hundred and fifty-two apartments make a large ownership group: each owner carries a small share of the common budget, and each vote at an assembly is one among many. The sixteen commercial premises put shop hours and shop traffic inside the same building as the homes, and put commercial units inside the same maintenance budget. The building's height isn't confirmed.
Four community titles, one common-area title and one covering the property as a whole round out the 277 titles on file. The names on those titles are not consistent — some read as variants of BOGOTA, others as variants of APARTOTEL COSTA DEL SOL. An apartment advertised under either name can be in this same building, and a search for one name alone will not turn up the other.
