Grandbay Tower
Grandbay Tower stands on the corner of Avenida Balboa and Calle 55 Este in Marbella, in the corregimiento of Bella Vista, facing the Cinta Costera. It rises 40 floors, was completed in 2008, and is registered as P.H. GRANDBAY TOWER.
All 223 registered units are apartments. Nothing commercial shares the building, so the maintenance budget and every assembly vote belong to residents alone. Alongside the apartments sit the building's own parent title and six land titles, none of them a residence — which is why the count of titles runs above the count of units.
Jemur S.A. developed the tower. Parking, a pool and a rooftop are on record, and building guides for the avenue place that pool on a rooftop sundeck with a 360° view, alongside a BBQ area, event rooms, a sauna, meeting and game rooms, a co-work area, a gym, four high-speed lifts and 24-hour reception. A profile of the tower adds a hot tub, a TV lounge and a void through the centre of the structure that works as a meditation garden — floor area the building gave up rather than sold. Apartments there are described at 96 to 186 m².
Across the avenue the Cinta Costera runs as a waterfront park with two open-air theatres and playgrounds for children, and Casco Viejo closes the western end of the same seafront.
