La Cresta
PH Metrópolis is a mid-1980s apartment building on Avenida Manuel Espinosa Batista in La Cresta, the small hillside pocket of Bella Vista that runs down to the Vía España corridor. Its unit folios first appear in the public registry in 1984, with registrations continuing into the early 1990s, and it holds roughly 46 apartments — established neighborhood stock rather than a new-build amenity tower.
It stands beside PH Centrum Tower on the same avenue — more sibling than neighbor: La Estrella de Panamá describes Centrum Tower as part of the Metrópolis building complex, developed by Sassi Urbanística S.A. and still under construction in 1987.
Brokers often file the building under El Carmen, and the tag is fair: it sits a few hundred meters from Vía España's shops and banks, an easy walk to the Iglesia del Carmen metro station.
